Cookie Contract & Policies

By placing an order with Kindness Through Cookies (KTC), you acknowledge and agree to all of the below terms and conditions.

Payment Policy

• Payment in full is due 10 days prior to the pick up date. This is the final opportunity to make changes to your order. If you fail to make payment by this date, your order may be cancelled.

• Orders placed less than 10 days before the event date will require 100% payment up front and may be subject to a rush fee.

Cancellation Policy

• Orders must be cancelled no less than 10 days prior to the event to receive a refund. Orders cancelled with less than 10 days to the event may forfeit all funds paid at that time.

• Should an emergency occur on the part of Kindness Through Cookies (KTC) in which your order cannot be completed, you will be refunded in full any payment made. Kindness Through Cookies (KTC) will notify you as soon as possible should this occur. 

Design Policy

• Any changes to the order must be made in writing and requested no less than 10 days in advance of the event date.  Changes requested after this point are not guaranteed.

• While we love to see inspiration photos to understand your design concept, we cannot replicate cookies done by another cookie artist.  This is plagiarism and just not nice!  We can; however, utilize pictures as inspiration and will provide you with alternative designs.

• Copyright also prevents us from duplicating logos and certain images unless we receive written permission from the company who owns the logo/image.

Pick up Policy

• Local cookie orders will be picked up at a mutually agreed upon location, date, and time. 

•  Delivery may be available depending on the location and date needed. A delivery fee of $1 per mile round trip will be applied to your purchase.

• Failure to show up at the agreed upon pickup time and location forfeits your order. 

• Due to cottage laws in VA, we are not able to ship cookies at this time.  

Refund Policy

• If you are unsatisfied with your order, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right. 

• Refunds are given on a CASE BY CASE basis at the discretion of KTC.

Allergy Warning 

• While Kindness Through Cookies (KTC) follows all applicable guidelines for avoiding cross-contamination in the kitchen, we cannot ensure that your order will not come into contact with common kitchen allergens which may include but are not limited to: eggs, nuts, soy, peanuts, milk, wheat, fish, and/or shellfish.

• Please notify Kindness Through Cookies (KTC) of all allergies before submitting payment for your order so that we may discuss whether or not your allergy needs can be accommodated. You are responsible for notifying all consumers of your order (all people at a party, for example) the potential for all products to contain common allergens. Kindness Through Cookies (KTC) is not liable for any allergic reactions that may occur.
